PW’s island review: Timmy Failure

Heeeyyy guys! It’s me, PW, with a review of Poptropica’s newest island, Timmy Failure island! Now to the good stuff…

*NOTE: ALL OF THESE ARE OPINIONS ON A SCALE OF 1-10, 1 BEING PATHETIC AND 10 BEING ULTIMATE*

Plot: 7

I think the plot is funny and has a couple of good cut scenes, but it wasn’t amazing, like Survival, and it lacked character development.

Art: 6

I loved the colors, but the designs were kind of thoughtless, like a template.

Dialogue: 9

The complexity of Timmy’s speech is very amusing, and the back and forth banter between characters is pretty funny.

Difficulty: 6

This island is not that hard to figure out, but it takes a while to finish.

Characters: 8

Certain characters I loved right from the start (Total ), but others really were missing something.

Story line: 5

I didn’t like how the entire plot of an island was centered around lost pants. Timmy, you should have more than one pair of pants, dude. Seriously. Super Power island was not based around finding Ned Noodlehead’s pants. He was proud of running around in underwear! But, I must confess, I loved Timmy’s description of the characters, and how you had to make Rollo’s head rattle ( XD hysterical!!), but I was expecting a twist like in Monster Carnival, but that need was not fulfilled.

Overall: 7.5

Any sponsor island is better than Galactic Hot Dogs (worst plot, design, art, quest of any island EVER), but it wasn’t up there with Wimpy Boardwalk. The characters were funny, and the ways you use Total are very funny. All in all, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great.

That’s all I got for today. Pop on!
